Anamaria Martinca, an actress from Romania. Her debut on screen was through Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic and was the recipient of the British Academy Television Award for Best actress. Fluently speaks French, German and English. Her father was an actor as well as her mother was a violinist. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award during the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008 The European Film Promotion Board recognized her as a European Shooting Star. She taught in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu for four years. bAnamaria is a Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca - an actress who is of Romanian descent - made her acting debut in Sex Traffic a British/Canadian TV movie for which Anamaria Marinca won the British Academy Television Award. The debut film of the actress, Sex Traffic won the British Academy Television Award to be the Best Actress. She also won numerous prizes for her performance in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She was the lead in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 zile" (4 months, three weeks and 2 Days) that won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. It also received two other awards, it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) and the Cinema Prize. She also appeared in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. The role she played was Yasim Awar on BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca is a regular on her own Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. Then, she played a major role in 2014's Fury where she played Irma the German Aunt of Emma.
