Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd later went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd took her bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimity. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters got an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
